Our client in California is currently seeking a DevSecOps Leader to fulfill a remote contract role. You will be responsible for providing technical leadership to senior management in the areas of Cloud Management, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Configuration Management and Operations. You will be asked to work independently (as a self-starter) to solve Infrastructure issues as well as delivery future state road map for archetypes that are consistent with modern DevOps, Virtual, Cloud frameworks.
- 2-3 years of hands on experience with cloud migrations
- 2-3 years experience with Chef or Puppet in large enterprises
- 2-3 years experience in the DevOps Domain with expertise in Continuous Delivery
- Have deployed, configured and implemented technologies such as Service Mesh, Entratius, Ostrato, Scalr, Docker, Openstack etc.
- 2-3 years of programming/scripting
- A proven and solid understanding of application development, n-tiered architectures
- 3-5 years in operations and infrastructure support
- Advanced understanding of infrastructure technologies – Server, network, storage, management technologies
- Public cloud provider experience (AWS, Azure, Google)
- Managed services experience creating, managing, and delivering, ITIL (foundational level, but exposure to more detail than foundation is often necessary)
- Understanding of the importance for governance, risk, security, and compliance
- Highly motivated and active within multiple work streams and able to manage deliveries accordingly
- Proven ability to articulate thoughts on paper in the form of assessments, technology recommendations, road maps, and architecture diagrams
- Ability to communicate incredibly well with senior technical management, works well in a team environment
