Our Columbus, Ohio client has a direct hire opportunity available for an Executive Liaison who will utilize their talents with a well-respected and employee-oriented organization. This role is primarily responsible for supporting the Assistant Director with the administration of committees and sections, promoting member engagement, and organizing the Leadership Academy. The successful candidate for this position will be action-oriented, as well as be able to demonstrate vision and excellent communication skills.
 
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • A minimum of 3-5 years administrative experience
  • Proven experience coordinating meetings and customer and/or member service
  • Excellent written communications skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills; organizational skills
  • Skilled in PowerPoint, Excel, Google tools, and survey platforms
  • Aptify and Higher Logic experience a plus
  • Ability to travel in the state of Ohio

 
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Organizes and executes the logistics and promotion of Committee and Section meetings and attends meetings and events as assigned
  • Post meeting and event notices, minutes, correspondence and all other pertinent information
  • Supports the execution of meeting and events by scheduling, communicating with speakers and guests, registration, coordinating day-of logistics (AV, food and beverage service, room set-up, signage, copies, and name badges) with internal staff
  • Supports the Assistant Director in collecting and reporting data related to meetings using Higher Logic, Aptify, Google, and other technology
  • Manages all aspects of the certification and specialization programs
  • Access and update member records and run reports when necessary
  • Will work closely with Specialty Boards to set standards, rewrite exams, and determine eligibility and handling site administration logistics and exams
  • Serves as the staff liaison to the Supreme Court of Ohio Commission on Certification of attorneys as specialists
