The Mobile Application Developer in this remote contract role supports business process through technology solutions. The Developer will work in partnership with Architects, DBA and other members of the Information Services team for the maintenance, enhancement and creation of mobile applications.


  • Previous working experience as a Mobile developer for 3-5+ years
  • BS in Computer Science or similar relevant field
  • Rich portfolio of released applications on the App store/Android market

Essential Functions

  • 70%: Designs, develops and maintains custom applications responsible for the mission-critical operations of the client in a predominantly object-oriented, .NET development environment.
  • 15%: Collaborate with business teams to clarify requirements and business needs. Proactively updated stakeholders and maintain open and courteous communication.
  • 15%: Collaborate with other developers and architects (when appropriate) to determine optimal solution architecture, efficiency, maintainability, and scalability.

Additional Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of IOS/Android programming languages (Java, Kotlin, Swift, and Objective C ) and development practices
  • 3-5 years of experience with APIs
  • Familiarity with OOP design principles
  • Problem solver with excellent analytical skills
  • Familiarity with .NET, C#, and developing in the Microsoft stack is a plus
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent and ongoing future basis without requiring sponsorship
