We have a full time remote opportunity available for a Product Manager who will be responsible for managing the Handsets Marketplace day-to-day operations and guiding long and short-term development.
 
Minimum Qualifications: 

  • BS or BA degree in business, marketing, eCommerce or related field.  MBA is preferred  
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management for B2B Marketplaces, eCommerce, Product Marketing or Consumer Products.  
  • Strong financial insight. Previous product pricing and budgeting experience.  
  • Strong quantitative and analytics skills and hands-on data reporting. 
  • Computer proficiency; Microsoft Office Suite etc.  
  • Experience working within an Agile environment. 
  • Ability to drive effective communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple departments and teams. 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment. 
  • Experience in Supply Chain or data analytics (preferred).  
  • Database skills; SQL, Stored Procedures (plus). 
  • Experience in Telecom and wireless service providers (plus).   

 
The Product Manager will be responsible for the product, and product features from concept to delivery. This will include effectively maintaining and communicating product vision to both technical and business stakeholders. This will include:

  • Interacting and collaborating with marketplace carriers, vendors, distributors, merchants and internal stakeholders to manage day to day marketplace operations. 
  • Aptitude to understand both the technical and business requirements and responsible for representing customer needs. 
  • Drive product recognition, understanding and adoption.  
  • Lead effort to explore, evaluate, develop and introduce Marketplace products. Drive product launches and work collaboratively with sales and marketing teams to grow market share.  
  • Define and execute different pricing and commission models, customer acquisition and retention strategies.  
  • Partner with marketing group to;  
  • Create interest and drive traffic to client Marketplace (brand, asset management, CRM, social).  
  • Create and manage digital engagement campaigns (drive sales, leads, sign-ups, etc.). 
  • Develop merchandising strategies and promotional plans. 
  • Brand and promotional communications.  
  • Drive Market Research and analysis. Lead competitive benchmarking and report activity on both current and future expansion opportunities. Stay abreast to trends in the marketplace and ensure a competitive product.  
  • Collaborate with Data Analytics SMEs to conduct ongoing and ad-hoc qualitative and qualitative KPI analysis to improve UX, traffic, conversion rates and decision making.
  • Research emerging technologies and make recommendations for process improvements. 
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to customers, team members and executives.  
  • Develop and update training materials for new product releases. 
  • Oversee Marketplace product quality management including;  
    • New product setup validation. 
    • New release UAT. 
    • Marketplace contents quality control. 
    • Imagery, messaging and positioning quality standards. 
    • Manage product sample process, including tracking and ordering product sample requests to vendors and carriers. 
    • Interface, execute and deliver product feature direction by working closely with Development Team, Product Owners and UI/UX team. Prioritize features and product road map.  
  • Conduct ROI analysis and feasibility studies to support priorities.  
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience. Identify, document and escalate feature gaps, work diligently with the development team to resolve issues and enhance marketplace performance.  
  • Represent the voice of the customer while advocating for the client.  
  • Participate in trade show and customer visit. *Periodical travel is required.
