We are currently looking for an experienced, passionate, and creative Solutions Architect with an interest in innovation to accelerate the vision of our client’s products. You will be responsible for leading an enterprise application architecture program.
The things you’ll do:  

  • Lead the definition, documentation of and ensure adherence to architectural standards
  • Lead the creation of an architectural roadmap: map evolution of current-state to future-state architectures
  • Work directly with product engineering teams to build platforms that deliver high availability and scalability
  • Establish an architectural program that fosters collaboration and input from across the engineering organization. Facilitate buy-in through engagement
  • Analyze requirements and collaborate with the product managers, team members, or architects
  • Create prototypes and author detailed architectural specifications
  • Work with user experience designers and product management to design technical solutions to problems faced by the business and its clients
  • Evangelize and communicate architectural patterns and values throughout the engineering organization
  • Successfully communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale to engineering team and stakeholders
  • Other relevant projects as assigned

The skills and experiences you’ll need:

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience
  • Knowledge of various architectural design patterns and machine learning strategies. 
  • Able to architect the future state and the path to get there, accounting for near-term product deliverables
  • Experience with various programming languages, preferably Ruby, Java, Python, JavaScript. 
  • Knowledge of various web frameworks such as Ruby on Rails and Express JS
  • Experience working with WebRTC preferred
  • Able to clearly and concisely communicate
  • Able to professionally represent the company and the team to internal and external stakeholders
  • Skilled at articulating complex implementation to non-technical personnel
  • Willingness to continue to grow, learn and maintain skill and proficiency
  • Demonstrated history of identifying and evolving systems and processes to ensure the best performance and operation
