This remote Project Manager role serves as the Work Continuity Project Manager supporting preparedness for a potential work stoppage for operations in Indiana. The PM is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing comprehensive contingency plans for all Clerical departments with represented employees to ensure the safety, reliability, and continuity of customer service operations.
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day responsibilities include partnering with business leaders and department managers to document critical work functions, identify coverage gaps, and ensure appropriate staffing through contingent workers and/or internal resources aligned with approved business continuity plans.
- The PM will coordinate work assignments, validate readiness plans, and monitor execution to ensure all operational tasks are covered without service disruption.
- The role also includes creating presentations and participating in briefings with Senior and Executive Leadership.
- The role also includes leading change management efforts, ensuring clear and timely communication across stakeholders, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration between operations, HR, labor relations, IT, communications and security teams.
- This individual will actively track risks, issues, and dependencies, provide status reporting, and escalate concerns as needed.
- Additionally, the PM will work closely with the Enterprise-level Work Continuity team on key initiatives such as security protocols, asset management, system access, training readiness, worksite logistics, and documented work plans.
- The PM is accountable for ensuring all required controls, procedures, and governance activities are in place and executed effectively throughout the duration of the work continuity period.

- Teams, Outlook, Power BI, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint
Required Skills:
- 7+ years’ experience
- Experience with project management and leadership across IT and business functions.
- Experience managing large complex projects that consist of a combination of internal/external and labor/non-labor cost components
- Extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management best practices including knowledge of waterfall, agile and SDLC methodologies and tools
- Must have excellent leadership skills (proven ability to coach, develop, and lead a team) and must be able to work with a diverse project team consisting of resources from all parts of the organization (both IT & Business)
- Proven ability to engage and develop relationships with executive sponsors and key stakeholders with clarity and precision
- Experience with project cost management and resource capacity planning
- Strong Business Process Analysis and Mapping skills
- Experience implementing change management approaches to support projects
- Experience in the indirect management of team members including assisting in the development, training, and assignment of work/projects to
- Project management certification (PMP)
- Agile certification such as PSM (Professional Scrum Master) and Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) a plus
- ITIL v3 or v4 a plus other members of a team
- Familiarity with the Energy Industry is a plus
