Seeking an AdOps Salesforce Process Analyst for a contract opportunity in New York, NY. The primary objective is to move beyond simple documentation into process transformation (the “2B” state), leveraging technical systems like Oracle Fusion and Salesforce to streamline workflows. Key Goals: Creating SOPs for 8 different lines of business that currently lack standardized documentation.
Core Requirements:
- Must have strong experience in either Salesforce workflow design OR Media AdOps/Trafficking tools.
- Facilitation Skills: Ability to embed within a team and lead workshops with SMEs to extract process details.
- Documentation: Creating SOPs, job aids, and “if-then” guidance rather than just click-by-click system guides.
- The “Probing” Mindset: Asking the right questions to understand the underlying logic and decision points of a workflow.
- Functional Expertise: These are business-side roles, not IT roles. Technical knowledge is required to understand system capabilities (e.g., automation), but coding is not a daily requirement.
- Technical Focus: Salesforce and Freewheel (trafficking tools).
Responsibilities:
- This team works on reporting so coming up with process improvements to aid in their reporting area of their business is important, they will document the desk level processes and make improvements/suggestions.
- Lead the process documentation efforts for a GBS project. Role includes understanding design, capturing technical details for each role within the advertising operations team, and identifying continuous improvement of end to end.
- The role ensures that global workflows—such as campaign setup, trafficking, QA, ad tech configuration, reporting, and billing—are standardized, well controlled, tech-enabled, and optimized for speed, accuracy, and scalability.
- This analyst partners with marketing, sales, finance, product, and technology teams to deliver consistent, high quality operational support across markets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience with workflow design, process mapping (Visio or LucidChart).
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with data, QA, and reporting.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Experience in a shared services or global business services environment preferred.
- Background in ad tech product management or platform operations.
- 2 to 3 years of ad operations experience or work in process management.
- Prior experience with Salesforce and FreeWheel or other similar technology
- Prior entertainment/media advertising experience is required
- Should have strong technical skills in Salesforce, working with Visio Lucidchart
- Experience with working with the business in process documentation in this space and extension knowledge in Salesforce business process improvement.
Additional Responsibilities
- Process Documentation
- Understand global standards for key advertising operations processes (e.g., campaign trafficking, ad server setup, creative QA, tagging, reporting, billing reconciliation).
- Complete detailed process documentation, SOPs, RACI models, and governance frameworks.
- Ensure documented procedures are in compliance with internal controls and policies.
- Process Optimization & Technology Enablement
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and eliminate defects.
- Use background knowledge working with existing Paramount technology including Salesforce, and either FreeWheel or a similar technology to make recommendations on technology enhancements that could support more effective workflow in the business.
- Identify automation and digitization initiatives using background expertise working with existing tools (i.e. Salesforce, Automation Anywhere, etc).
- Define KPIs, SLAs, and quality metrics to measure process performance.
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis methodologies.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Operational Support
- Work closely with marketing, sales, media strategy, finance, and IT to document detailed process steps.
