Columbus, Ohio client has a contract opportunity for a Business Analyst who will participate in projects within client’s service areas, focusing on operational efficiency and network connectivity transformation.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Contribute to define plans for infrastructure upgrades, service improvements, and technology implementations across client’s telecommunication footprint.
• Stakeholder Communication & Coordination: Collaborate with leadership, regulatory agencies, and external partners to ensure alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements.
• Leverage software-defined wide area networking (SD-WAN) principles to optimize network performance, enhance security, and improve operational efficiency.
• Cost Savings & Cost Avoidance: Participate in building strategies to reduce operational expenses, optimize telecom costs, and implement cost-avoidance measures through efficient network management and vendor negotiations.
• Change Management & Adoption: Support modernization efforts, customer experience improvements, and technology integrations and external partnerships.

 
Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in utilities and telecommunications industry transformation projects
• Strong background in project management, process optimization, and stakeholder engagement, and organizational change management.
• Familiarity with client’s regulatory frameworks, infrastructure investments, and modernization strategies
• Proficiency in software-defined wide area networking (SD-WAN), cost savings strategies, and cost avoidance techniques
• Ability to analyze complex challenges and develop innovative solutions
• Knowledge of client billing rates and tariffs within the customer information systems
• Knowledge of Jira Application
