Job Description

The Principal Program Manager is responsible for leading the Personalization Squad with our client. This includes:

  • Managing strategy formation, process definition, organizational design, and technology delivery

  • Leading cross-functional teams (business, tech, and 3rd-party vendors)

  • Aligning with strategic goals to ensure impactful execution

  • Driving integration across initiatives to meet stakeholder needs

  • Ensuring adherence to processes that enable optimal outcomes

 

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership:
    Breaks down business strategies to help define program vision and outcomes within the squad.

  • Communication:
    Articulates strategy and business plans clearly across internal and external stakeholders.

  • Program Governance:
    Oversees production/approval of programs, ensuring alignment with org structures, compliance, and process governance.

  • Team Enablement:
    Adds team members as needed, provides mentorship, and enhances team capabilities.

  • Stakeholder Alignment:
    Communicates the value of the program; secures buy-in by explaining alignment to the broader mission and goals.

  • Engagement Management:
    Defines stakeholder roles and manages engagement planning.

  • Review & Metrics:
    Oversees the program review process to provide actionable insights and recommendations for decisions.

  • Clarity & Decision-Making:
    Ensures roles and responsibilities are clearly defined to support rapid decision-making.

  • Strong leadership in Portfolio and Program Management

  • Cross-functional collaboration across business, design, and tech

  • Deep understanding of how different organizational roles interact with product offerings

  • Knowledge of digital products, product development, and the associated technologies

  • Familiarity with industry-standard precision practices, tools, and processes

Agile/Digital Expertise

  • Expertise in SDLC, agile frameworks, and leading across diverse delivery models

  • Ability to identify dependencies and eliminate blockers in digital environments
