Tucson, AZ client is seeking a Staining Software Engineer Associate for a contract opportunity designing and developing staining procedures in close partnership with assay development.
 

• This is a hybrid position. Candidates will be required to be in the Tucson office Tuesday – Thursday, and will be allowed to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays
• Open to considering recent college graduates for this position

 
Job Summary:

• Develops software supplements that install staining procedures along with the underlying database elements required to the support staining procedure(s) in the software application.
• Delivers projects on time in a fast paced environment.
• Mentored on the use of software tools and editing staining procedures
• Monitors work to ensure quality and continuously promote Quality First Time.

 
Skill Set Requirements

• Must have a 4-year degree – preferably in Engineering (preferred), Biology, or Chemistry
• Experience with Programming
• Strong leadership and organizational
• Ability to plan project components and effectively report status to stakeholders.
• Knowledge of creating software documentation for a medical device.
• Knowledge of software databases
• Experience with scripting languages – SQL-ite is preferred, but other scripting languages will be accepted
• Ability to create project documentation that is complete, consistent, and usable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of or familiarity with project management tools (such as Smart Sheets, MS Project, or Trello).
• Ability to create/edit written procedures and document work accurately.
• Ability to meet deadlines and deliver projects on time.
• Information Security and Data Privacy fundamentals
• Having a background in biology or chemistry would be helpful to understand the science involved with the process
