Our Ohio client has a remote opportunity for a Channel Operation Specialist. Channel Operations is responsible for driving operational functions critical to the ongoing management of distribution channel processes in conjunction with Manager, Channel Operations. It would be expected that this role would serve to enable core business processes related to 3rd party distribution systems as well as support ongoing data transmission and validation of information included on those external platforms. This role will work in partnership across all areas under the remit of the VP, Analytics and Strategic Initiatives and our Sales leadership teams as needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  
–       Serve as day-to-day support for the channel partnership function, including driving data alignment / reconciliations with external distribution partners and internal stakeholders
–       Drive process improvement efforts, including ongoing transformation in metadata and information sharing processes with distributors.
–       Support multiple operational initiatives, including both as an external representative of operations as well as partner with stakeholders internally as an SME for distribution processes
–       Partners with Sales and GTM teams on channel operation processes and supports dispute escalation as directed by the Sr Director

If you are a people manager, you would be responsible for the following: hire, train, develop, and motivate a team of employees. Work with employees to establish annual goals and objectives. Conduct timely performance evaluations. Monitor and control team expenses.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:  
Must Have for this role: 
–       We are looking for a Strong operations specialist who has hands-on experience in reviewing the data, reports, and dashboards.
–       This person will be working with the new project team; sales team and with the external stakeholders.
–       We are looking for someone who has hands-on experience in monitoring and validating data across third-party platforms to ensure accuracy and escalate discrepancies.
–       This person will be working on large database and manipulating the big data.

Education Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Experience Requirement:
5+ years of applicable experience.

Skills and Experience:
Required:
–       Strong operational process and data management execution capabilities, including experience working with cross-functional and external stakeholders
–       Demonstrated problem structuring and problem-solving skills
–       Strong attention to detail, embodying the work ethic that thrives in a fast-paced culture with tight deadlines and shifting priorities
–       Excellent verbal and written communication skills
–       Experience with working in roles serving as a primary liaison between various stakeholders
–       Displays and acts with curiosity, initiative and integrity
–       Strong Excel, PowerPoint skills
–       Candidate should have experience in Accounting & Billing.
–       Must have experience in Excel, Pivot tables, and SQL Queries. 
–       Ability to manage multiple competing priorities successfully

Preferred:
–       Detailed working knowledge of course material distribution landscape in the Higher Education market.
–       Exposure to data analysis tools (such as Power BI or Tableau)
–       Salesforce experience is nice to have.
–       EST/ CST hours are preferred.
