Our New Albany client is looking for a RT Ops Solution Engineer to provide application support for Energy Management Systems (EMS) and Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, as well as other applications utilized in Transmission Control Centers.  The role involves establishing a moderate understanding of the technologies and processes necessary for the development and support of Operational Technology (OT) Real Time tools and systems. 

Responsibilities:

• Exhibit advanced understanding of the AVEVA PI (Plant Information) system, components, and processes
• Ability to understand interrelationships between systems and components
• Demonstrate critical thinking, urgency, and attention to detail to support real-time operations
• Able to provide on rotation, after-hours (24 x 7) on-call support
• On-site role, candidates must be local. 

Education & Experience: 
Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2 years of relevant experience
– OR Associate’s degree in a related field with 4 years of relevant experience
– OR High school diploma/GED with 6 years of relevant experience

• IT/OT System Administration
• IT/OT Application Support
• Cyber Security
• ADMS/DM/SEMS/OMS/SCADA

Nice-To-Have:

• Preferred intermediate to advanced experience supporting AVEVA PI, Operational Technology Systems, and their components
• AVEVA PI experience, especially with
  • PI Interfaces
  • PI Connectors
  • PI Integrators
  • PI Asset Framework/ PI Vision
• Operational Technology experience – Power Plant Control Systems such as Ovation
• SCADA System-related experience
• Understanding of Communications Protocols – OPC, Modbus, DNP, Ovation
• PI Installation & Administration
• Advanced Analytics using AVEVA PI
• C# .Net Development Experience.
