Our customer is seeking a seasoned Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join their Cybersecurity team. Operating within a highly regulated banking environment, this resource will be the operational engine driving two of their most critical security pillars: Identity Security and Threat Intelligence / Insider Risk.

Work Environment & Travel

  • Remote-First: Work from anywhere within the United States.
  • Quarterly Onsite: Requirement to travel to San Francisco Bay Area office once per quarter for deep-dive planning and team-building sessions.

 
This is not a “vision-setting” role; rather, they need a high-caliber execution expert who can take leadership’s strategic roadmap and turn it into a reality. This resource will bridge the gap between technical engineering tasks and executive-level reporting, ensuring that complex security initiatives remain on track, compliant, and transparent.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Program Execution: Lead the day-to-day execution of the Identity Security and Threat Intelligence roadmaps. Manage project lifecycles, resource allocation, and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between technical security engineers and senior leadership. Provide clear, data-driven updates on program health, milestones, and blockers.
  • Operational Maturity: Drive the continued maturation of existing programs by identifying process bottlenecks and implementing streamlined workflows.
  • Compliance Alignment: Ensure all project deliverables align with strict financial regulations and frameworks, including NIST CSF and ISO 27001.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Facilitate communication between IT, Risk, Legal, and Engineering teams to ensure security controls are integrated without disrupting business velocity.


Technical Domain Expertise:
Identity Security

  • Deep familiarity with Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
  • Strong understanding of modern access concepts: SSO, MFA, Passwordless authentication, and Cloud Security (Azure/AWS/GCP).
  • Experience managing lifecycle management (Joiner/Mover/Leaver) within a large enterprise footprint.

Threat Intelligence & Insider Risk

  • Understanding of how enterprise teams leverage OSINT and commercial threat feeds to proactively defend the perimeter.
  • Knowledge of Insider Risk frameworks, including human risk behavior analytics and the components of a successful behavioral monitoring program.

 
Qualifications

  • Experience: 7+ years of Technical Project/Program Management experience, specifically within Cybersecurity.
  • Enterprise Background: Proven track record in a large-scale enterprise environment. Experience within a Financial Institution or high-growth FinTech is a significant advantage.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Working knowledge of NIST, ISO, or CSF standards as they apply to banking.
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to translate “technical speak” into business impact for executive presentations.
  • Education/Certs: PMP, CISSP, or CISM certifications are a plus but not required if equivalent experience is demonstrated.
