Technical Program Manager / Scrum Master
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90069
Schedule: Onsite full-time | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
 
Overview
Los Angeles, CA client has a senior-level contract opening for a Technical Program Manager. This role will serve as a Scrum Master for two scrum teams. Technical expertise is important, as this individual will bridge communication with strong technical understanding.
 
Responsibilities

• Support Apple and Android platforms.
• This is not a front-end UI/UX role; the position sits in the middle between ad services and Stitcher.
• Coordinate with front-end UI/UX teams.
• Help manage troubleshooting efforts to verify the source of problems and prioritize corrections to ensure final product delivery to the customer.
• This is a Program Manager-level role; however, the candidate should be highly technical.

 
Top Critical Skills / Must-Have Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Agile Program Manager/Scrum Master building complex software-based systems from inception to release, including coordinating cadence-based releases.
• Experience working as part of a larger PMO to deliver complex solutions, utilizing Agile processes to:
  • Call out issues
  • Remove impediments
  • Manage risk
• Ability to handle high-level partners within the organization and help balance competing needs and requests.
• Experience managing teams, negotiating compromises, and interfacing between technical and business partners, with a focus on increasing the speed and quality of software delivery.
• Solid understanding of Agile software development methodologies, with demonstrated success driving teams to higher levels of productivity and efficiency.

  • Structure
• Google Workspace:
  • Gmail
  • Sheets
  • Slides
  • etc.
• Communication Tools:
  • Slack
  • Zoom
  • Google Meet
• Project planning and milestone delivery documentation/visualization:
  • Gantt charts
  • Dashboards
  • Roadmaps
  • etc.
• Ability to manage and coordinate meetings as a facilitator for multiple groups.
• Ability to manage several moving parts and communicate effectively with teams.
• Ability to work with individuals at all levels and across multiple verticals and skill sets, partnering effectively with teams.

 
Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Video Operations experience
• Streaming experience within the SDLC
• Experience working in an Agile setting
• Experience with ad technologies
• Entertainment/media industry experience
• Experience with video is highly preferred
• Experience with streaming is preferred
