Seeking a Business Analyst for an onsite contract need in New Albany, Ohio. This role will help bridge Global Trade, Supply Chain, IT, vendors (QAD/KPMG), and integration teams. Leads business requirements elicitation sessions with Trade, Compliance, Supply Chain, Distribution Centers, Finance, and IT stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Document current-state and future-state business processes for FTZ and GTM capabilities. (project specific)
- Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements, user stories, process flows, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate workshops to define MVP, must-have, and future-state capabilities.
- Partner with solution vendors and implementation partners to evaluate system capabilities and identify process gaps.
- Analyze impacts to upstream and downstream systems, integrations, reports, and operational procedures.
- Support data mapping activities across source systems, interfaces, and reporting requirements.
- Assist in defining master data, compliance data, trade classifications, inventory, customs, and shipment-related requirements.
- Create and maintain process documentation, requirements traceability, decision logs, and project artifacts.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of BA experience leading medium to large enterprise system implementations
- Experience working in Agile and Hybrid project delivery environments
- Experience gathering requirements across multiple business functions
- Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Distribution, Inventory Management, Customs, or Trade Compliance processes as well as retail
Must have skills:
- Must have strong facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Must be skilled in Mural and JIRA
- Must be able to drive work forward, very resourceful, proactive, and excellent collaborator.
- Someone who is interested in the success of the project and willing to team up with peers to get the job done
Soft skills:
- Need someone with high emotional intelligence and very self aware
- Can confidently facilitate meetings with leaders and subject matter experts.
- Communicates clearly and concisely.
- Comfortable challenging assumptions respectfully.
- Brings structure to ambiguous discussions.
- Quickly establishes trust across business and technology teams.
- Develops strong partnerships with stakeholders who may have competing priorities.
- Seen as a trusted advisor rather than just a note-taker.
